In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.
How far is too far when it comes to fighting unconstrained by the law for some greater good? Or is it even actually within the lawful powers of those authorize such actions? In the wake of Watergate, William F. Buckley, Jr. discusses the question of subversion and the law with Roy M. Cohn and W. Mark Felt.

Once upon a time a true American ambassador spoke to a convention in America and said something very true of certain segments of domestic opposition cum agitation: They always blame America first.
Yet again, we see this.
In this case, it stems ( or pseudo-stems) from a post from some group that bastardizes the name of “Mises”, and so blame all ills on America first and foremost.
Oh, the delusions it must take to declare that all ills in the world, yes even the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, is due to American, or at least Anglo-American malfeasance, and hope for an “internal” cure to this…
If, in order to defend your extreme isolationist or non-interventionist foreign policy utopia, you literally end up defending Hitler… then maybe your policies aren’t exactly a moral good.
We’ve reached the parts of the horseshoe where paleo-cons (once respectable back in the day) and libertarians (also one respectable back in the day) now wholeheartedly agree that Hitler wasn’t that bad…
They always blame America first and foremost, if not exclusively.

…other people not using “paintself” pronouns is not the problem—the lack or real mental healthcare is.
One of this person’s headmates goes by paint/paintself pronouns. You must make an effort to make paint feel comfortable. pic.twitter.com/8e5XkG6fTF

In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.
The unpersoning of people for politically incorrect thinking is nothing new, as is seen by W.W. Rostow who discusses this and other policy matters from half a century ago with William F. Buckley.
Another “quick takes” on items where there is too little to say to make a complete article, but is still important enough to comment on.
The focus this time: Death be but a kindness to the living.
First, a little mood music:
Carrying on…

Ah, Canada! That last of “free” healthcare that just wants you to die.
“Since last year, Canadian law, in all its majesty, has allowed both the rich as well as the poor to kill themselves if they are too poor to continue living with dignity. In fact, the ever-generous Canadian state will even pay for their deaths. What it will not do is spend money to allow them to live instead of killing themselves.”

Remind me again how this isn’t somehow grooming? The School District of Philadelphia encouraged teachers to go to a transgender “kink” conference. Yet “transgenderism” being taught to kids isn’t sexual? Christophr Rufo, yet again, has obtained primary video evidence of “kink,” “BDSM,” “trans sex,” bigger dick energy,” and “banging beyond binaries”.
Trans activist Chase Ross hosted a series of sessions on “packers,” “masturbation sleeves,” and “prosthetics for sex,” demonstrating a variety of dildos. “It’s a big boy. This is, like, gigantic,” he said during one demo. “Give me two hours alone and I’ll get this in my butt.” pic.twitter.com/VJot3GoPJl

Another session, “Trans Sex: Banging Beyond Binaries,” was led by Jamie Joy, a self-described “kinky,” “polyamorous,” “pretty big slut,” and Lucie Fielding, a self-described “white, queer, kinky, polyamorous, visibly able-bodied, Jewish, witchy, non-binary, trans femme.” pic.twitter.com/sDgzgGcCc7

The women discussed various “kink” activities, including fetishes involving puppies, spanking, and Mary Poppins. They also suggested using new, trans-friendly language for genitalia, such as “front hole” and “back hole.” pic.twitter.com/zGqffZwuT6

The “Anti-racist” “training” that both government and businesses have gone crazy in implementing is, as ought to be obvious, completely insane.
But how do you combat bias and discrimination otherwise? What is the alternative?

The Freedom & Virtue Institute provides the answer:
“The most salient aspect of our training is that we conceive it as an invitation to encounter each other a place that can foster unity. This is why we depart from a common ground, the universal dignity of every human person. Data shows that Americans are less prone to listen to each other than ever.
“A recent survey conducted by the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism showed that only 28% of respondents express that their willingness to listen to different points of view will increase in the future, while a mere 18% stated their empathy towards people who disagree with them will grow in the years to come. [https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210114005633/en/USC-Annenberg- Study-and-Livestream-Polarization-of-America-Will-Likely-Increase-Despite-Calls-for-National-Unity].
“It is our belief that training that is presented as an invitation to come together around shared values can overcome polarization. Open dialogue that departs from universal truths about the human person and centers on the individual person as unique and unrepeatable can help organizations move on a path that ends at admiration and respect for differences. By focusing on the uniqueness of each person we encourage the rejection of an “us” and “them” approach that centers on groups and all the a priori assumptions that come with a collectivist mindset.
“In other words, our approach has as its starting point an anthropological question, “What is a human person?” There lies the starting point to move forward toward a sociological response that targets humans interacting with each other, and creating systems and institutional frameworks.”
…you might be “tender and moist” in the head.

Note how this person emphasizes that a person who is “cake gender” doesn’t believe they are physically a cake, but simply spiritually corresponds with the attributes of a cake, which shows an accurate view of the (ironically and increasingly wrongthink) idea that “gender” and “biological sex”.
