Stealth Veganism

When most normal people think of a burger, they think of a hamburger made with a beef patty. For other patties, there is usually a qualification (e.g. “chicken burger”, “veggie burger”, &c.).   Why? Because a hamburger is definitionally made from beef.

But not anymore… in Austria anyway for Burger King who believe that “meat is no longer a matter of course in the future.”

“Burger King Austria is continuing the chain’s introduction of plant-based menu items around the world with a new campaign to promote the burgers, which will be positioned as ‘the new normal’ on its menu.

“The restaurant chain has begun a campaign titled ‘Meat Option,’ which will see Burger King staff ask all customers whether they want their order as ‘regular or with meat’—as it standardizes the plant-based option over its more traditional offering.

“…

“The campaign motto ‘Normal, or with meat?’ will be promoted throughout Austria and on social media. The video has already generated around 100,000 organic views through Instagram and YouTube, under the hashtags #normalodermitfleisch/#meatoption.”

The commercial they made is… pure cringe.

But at least they are giving an option that mentions meat as at least an alternative so that people don’t get hornswaggled, for now, which is more than the company Blue Bottle has done:

“In the United States, coffee chain Blue Bottle has made a similar shift. In 2021, it tested an oat milk default at its West Coast locations, so if customers order a latte without specifying a milk preference, it is made with oat milk rather than cow’s milk. Based on the overwhelmingly positive results, Blue Bottle has expanded its oat milk default nationwide.

“These food giants are posing a question to the public: how can we define a new normal?”

Veganism is increasingly being imposed by stealth when they don’t even tell you you aren’t getting what you are actually ordering. You buy a burger, you expect beef. You buy a latte, you expect dairy.

Republicanism And Conservatism

Your humble author has often pointed out that many on the rights seemed inclined to tear down institutions, and even mores, in a quest to stop elites from being a threat, if not outright seek to “hear the lamentations of their women”. Dan McLaughlin, provides an illuminating history of what he refers to as “republicanism”, and how this republicanism in an American vein could easily find itself into a more anti-American/European style of “republicanism”.

     So, what is this “republicanism”?

“Among all of these values, republicanism may sound the least relevant to today, when monarchy is out of fashion in most of the world, and scarcely anybody in the Western world still professes faith in the underlying assumption that governing power is divinely ordained to be handed down by hereditary birthright rather than earned through some form of popular sovereignty or proven merit. But to early Americans, republicanism as an ideological concept meant something broader than ‘no more kings.’

“What it meant was an end to the entire mindset of formal and informal aristocratic privilege and social deference to the highborn. In a truly republican society, no man had a hereditary position, and no man needed to give way before his ‘betters.’ All would never be equal in natural talents or inherited wealth, but everyone started with at least a theoretically equal position of opportunity for advancement and for earning the respect of his fellow man. This was distinct from republics of the past — the Roman republic, the Venetian republic — that had no king and some representative institutions, but were still run by an aristocratic or oligarchic elite.”

The Purported Whiteness Of The Gender Binary

Radical Gender Theory is systemically embedded in the school system and all children are being indoctrinated, not only with Critical Gender Theory, but the intersectional ideology of Critical Race Theory which posits that all non-Whites were queer genderless noble saveages until White people imposed the “gender/sexual” binary on indigenous peoples, and only the “other ways of knowing” of these non-White peoples—which strangely seems cribbed from the ideology of the Whitest of White leftists—will liberate anyone from the evils of not accepting English language neo-pronouns… because somehow all languages outside of Western European languages recognized that gender and biological differences between the sexes didn’t exist!

That they are imposing far greater “Whiteness” on the thinking of non-Whites than any conquistador or colonizer ever could seems to escape them. Yet, here they are pushing their Whiteness on the bon sauvage! And not on some graduate school level… but on impressionable children.

Human Sacrifice For A Pope-Endorsed Pagan Goddess

Ah yes, that “noble savage” knowledge and more Earth-centered and spiritual “way of knowing” so alien to the wicked and evil West! So enlightened as to still to this day engage in animal and even human sacrifice.

“A man has told of how he smashed his way out of a coffin after being buried alive by festival goers ‘as a sacrifice to mother earth’ when he passed out while drinking in Bolivia.

“After passing out the night before following a heavy drinking session at the opening of the Mother Earth Festival in El Alto, Bolivia, on 5 August, Víctor Hugo Mica Alvarez, 30, found himself 50 miles away inside a casket in Achacachi.

“The Mother Earth Festival sees people giving thanks to Pachamama, the goddess of earth and fertility, where they give offerings, also known as a ‘sullu’, to the planet.

“Indigenous Bolivians believe the goddess ‘opens her mouth’ for offerings in August, and many will give anything from live animals to sheep foetuses, as well as cocoa leaves and sweets.”

That goddess, Pachamama… it sounds familiar. Oh… oh my!

“In his new exhortation released today on the Amazon Synod, Pope Francis made statements about ‘indigenous’ symbols and ‘certain religious practices’ that could be interpreted as a defense of the use of the controversial ‘Pachamama’ statues during the synod in Rome last year.

“In section 78 of Querida Amazonia, Pope Francis states that people should ‘not be quick to describe as superstition or paganism certain religious practices that arise spontaneously from the life of peoples.’”

Maybe, juuust maybe, there was something positive about the entire “conquistador” thing after all.

The State Of So-Called Social Science

It’s easy to laugh at some of the bizarre ideas and concepts that come out of academia, but if you want to really understand just how un-academic these “academics” can be even when purporting to be more serious than usual, you need to get it straight from the tap of (allegedly) peer-reviewed journal articles. There are fewer good sources for pointing out the more insane ones than the Real Peer Review channel on Twitter. The poor writing, fallacies, and lack of logic is discombobulated by them here:
