Firing Line Friday: What Now for the Ghetto?

In the hopes of encouraging a more civil, and illuminating, discourse, here is another episode of William F. Buckley, Jr.’s “Firing Line”.

It seems that inner cities are returning to crime, homelessness, and political insanity.   Let us look back half a century the last time cities turned into hellholes as William F. Buckley, Jr. talks with then Tom Bradley, who was elected Mayor of Los Angeles, as they discuss the question of what now for the ghetto?

     Until next Friday.

One Response to Firing Line Friday: What Now for the Ghetto?

  1. A Landesmesser says:

Yes Bill Buckley who wouldn’t dream of wearing white after Labor Day realized that the solution for ghettos could be found in the Yale club rule book. A man who couldn’t fight busing, refused to do anything about the radicalization of academia and insured those who would stand up to such monsters were thrown out of the Republican Party. People with dirty finger nails need not apply.
