Queering the Numbers

Is there anything more oppressive than a rational number?  Apparently so since all rational and non-transcendental irrational numbers are cis-normative oppressors.

This queer mathematician describes “herself” as:

Trans demigirl in her early twenties. Self-diagnosed autistic. Jewish, conditionally white/white-passing. My parents are bourgeois, and I survive by appeasing them for a monthly allowance.

I don’t even have the words anymore. Fuck. The. What?

    “Self-diagnosed autistic”?!!?

This statement is extremely offensive to those of us who self-identify as medical doctors (and who actually do have a degree on the wall with MD on it).

I’m also amused by her statement that she “survive[s] by appeasing them [her parents] for a monthly allowance.”

Oh, what a fucking hardship it must be for her to be forced to subjugate herself to her parents for the necessities of survival. So much harder than, say, getting a fucking job and paying her own goddamn bills.

    Poor little baby.
