     The totalitarian punishment<\/a> of Oregon bakers who didn’t want to use their personal creative abilities to promote and endorse a same-sex ceremony continues to destroy religious liberty and free speech, by threatening the very home<\/a> of the bakers:<\/p>\n

“[T]he fascist state of Oregon  is ramping up its persecution campaign against Christian bakers who declined to bake a wedding cake for a same sex lesbian couple. Aaron and Melissa Klein, the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, have been told that if they don\u2019t pay the $135,000 awarded to the lesbian couple who sued them, a lien will be placed against their home next week.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     They can not speak out against the state’s ruling and now may lose their home… all for not wanting to participate in a ceremony that they disagreed with… and wasn’t even legally binding at the time!  The left<\/em> continues to lie<\/a> about this being all about denying service to two people because they were homosexual, but then the Left needs<\/em> to lie.<\/p>\n

     All this because of a hostility to Christian morality.  It would seem that the free exercise of religion, and of the prohibition of abridging freedom of speech, mean nothing compared to a made-up right that didn’t even exist at the time.  The only right the bakers have is to shut up<\/a> and do as they are told.<\/p>\n
