     The Obama administration has finally released the “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule<\/a>” (AFFH).\u00a0 In effect, it gives the Obama administration the power to fundamentally transform<\/em> American neighborhoods in the visage of a delusional Progressive utopia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“AFFH gives the federal government a lever to re-engineer nearly every American neighborhood \u2014 imposing a preferred racial and ethnic composition, densifying housing, transportation, and business development in suburb and city alike, and weakening or casting aside the authority of local governments over core responsibilities, from zoning to transportation to education. Not only the policy but the political implications are immense \u2014 at the presidential, congressional, state, and local levels.<\/p>\n

“\u2026<\/p>\n

“Fundamentally, AFFH is an attempt to achieve economic integration. Race and ethnicity are being used as proxies for class, since these are the only hooks for social engineering provided by the Fair Housing Act of 1968.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     It makes the assumption that any divergence from proportional equality is due to racism, and thus requiring state and local governments to bow down<\/a> to the Obama administration.<\/p>\n

\n

“The new rule takes this a step further and requires cities across the country to scrutinize their housing patterns for racial bias and report the results every three to five years. Communities would also have to set and track goals to further reduce segregation.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     How far will this go?\u00a0 Eliminating single-family homes<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“Get rid of single-family zoning in Seattle. That’s the big message in a draft report being worked on by Mayor Ed Murray’s housing committee, obtained by The Seattle Times.<\/p>\n

“According to a draft letter, the city needs to move away from the idea that all families can live in their own home on a piece of land, the Times reports.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     The Progressive left won’t be happy until everyone (except the Nomenklatura, of course) is in college-style dorms with “yes means yes<\/a>” rules and “fun camp<\/a>” activities.\u00a0 Throw in “raising awareness” and working on a collective farm and you have the Progressive\/Communist dream:\u00a0 An elite college, filled with grievance studies majors, that magically pays for itself.<\/p>\n

     With the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule, the are one step closer to that dystopia.<\/p>\n
