     Remember all those bakers<\/a>, florists<\/a>, and photographers<\/a> who were told they had to artistically contribute to a same-sex wedding because to refuse to artistically contribute to an event that celebrated what they morally opposed was discrimination based on sexual orientation?<\/p>\n

     The argument was that those bakers, florists, and photographers would serve a traditional wedding, thus the refusal to endorse the action<\/em> of others was taken as the refusal to serve<\/em> those others, even when it was shown that those very same bakers, florists, photographers happily served those very same gay customers!<\/p>\n

     Now that excuse<\/a> is being used whenever someone refuses to contribute their personal creative abilities to support and further the political and social message of the LGBTQ movement: A T-shirt maker has been ordered<\/a> by the so-called Kentucky Human Rights Commission to print T-shirts with a gay pride flag on it.\u00a0 An “examiner” of the commission ruled<\/a> that:<\/p>\n

“The evidence of record shows that the respondent discriminated against GLSO because of its members’ actual or imputed sexual orientation by refusing to print and sell to them the official shirts for the 2012 Lexington Pride Festival.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     Of course, this is a blatant falsehood.\u00a0 The manager of the company, which explicitly identifies as “Christian outfitters,” points out that falsehood:<\/p>\n

“We’ll work with anybody. But if there’s a specific message that conflicts with my convictions, then I can’t promote that.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     His lawyer makes that point even more bluntly:<\/p>\n

\n

“Blaine declined the request to print the shirts not because of any characteristic of the people who asked for them, but because of the message that the shirts would communicate.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     Refusing to express a political message is not refusal to serve someone on the basis of who they are sexually attracted to.<\/p>\n

     The company has be mandated to print shirts advocating for homosexuality.<\/p>\n

     Mandated speech is NOT free speech.<\/p>\n

     As is becoming usual<\/a>, they employees are also required to undergo “diversity training.”<\/p>\n
