     Now, in the glorious People’s Republic of Berkeley, the great unwashed masses shall by law receive free marijuana<\/a> of the chronic variety!\u00a0 Free!\u00a0 Absolutely free!\u00a0 That’ll stick it to the “man”!<\/p>\n

“Medical marijuana dispensaries in Berkeley must give some of their pot free of charge to low-income patients under an ordinance approved by the City Council.<\/p>\n

“At least 2% of the marijuana each dispensary doles out needs to be given free to dispensary members who have ‘very low’ incomes and are Berkeley residents, the ordinance, approved Tuesday, says.l Related<\/p>\n

“The ordinance also stipulates that free pot must be the same quality, on average, as the pot that other members buy.<\/p>\n

“…[The] City Council has defined very low income as $32,000 a year for one person and $46,000 a year for a family of four.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     $32,000 a year?\u00a0 Sounds like the typical Berkeley student… or ex student who has been hanging around for decades.<\/p>\n

     Dispensing with the outmoded ideas of “profit” it is only a matter of time before all “medical” marijuana dispensaries become anarcho-syndicalist communes where the toilers of the fields of chronic sticky green goodness will be paid back by the communal wonder of naked hippies and bongo drums!<\/p>\n
