     A parent in Manitoba was fined<\/a> ten Canadian Dollars for not having a serving of “grain” in her child’s lunch.\u00a0 The lunch of “homemade roast beef and potatoes, carrots, an orange and some milk” was deemed to be insufficient and unhealthy, and had to be suplemented with\u2026 Ritz Crackers!<\/p>\n

     The sad thing is that this home-made lunch was deemed insufficient while a lunch containing “microwave Kraft Dinner and a hot dog, a package of fruit twists, a Cheestring, and a juice box” would have been deemed healthy and appropriate.<\/p>\n

     With government treating parents as incompetent<\/a> to feed their own kids, you’d think that the governmen<\/a>t sees the kids as their own<\/em>.<\/p>\n
