The Progressives\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2012\/11\/09\/sun-tzu-the-progressives\/\" target=\"_blank\">basic traits<\/a> of Progressivism, socialism, and the assorted menagerie of Leftist ideologies, is that society must be <a title=\"America, the Modern Day Ancien Regime\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/04\/03\/america-the-modern-day-ancien-regime\/\" target=\"_blank\">reshaped<\/a> according to &#8220;correct thinking.&#8221;\u00a0 The values, mores, and beliefs are the <a title=\"Pillars of Society\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/02\/01\/pillars-of-society\/\" target=\"_blank\">pillars<\/a> that support society, and make it what it is.\u00a0 The rabid Left associates any and all flaws with these fundamental underlying principles, and so seek to <a title=\"How Marx is Conquering America\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/10\/23\/how-marx-is-conquering-america\/\" target=\"_blank\">destroy<\/a> it.\u00a0 Because they <a title=\"The Cultural Marxist Origins of Modern Progressivism\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/10\/01\/the-cultural-marxist-origins-of-modern-progressivism\/\" target=\"_blank\">associate such evil<\/a> with society, and more narrowly with Western Civilization and <a title=\"The Civic Basis of Our National Heritage\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/06\/17\/the-civic-basis-of-our-national-heritage\/\" target=\"_blank\">America<\/a> in particular, they see the <a title=\"The Manichean Meta-Narrative\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/08\/09\/the-manichean-meta-narrative\/\" target=\"_blank\">absence of that civilization <\/a>as necessarily good, and thus amenable to their own utopian delusions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Rarely, though, does the Left come right out and say it.\u00a0 Democratic Congressman Clyburn has admitted that Obamacare is about &#8220;changing values&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-QpOuCrNbas\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Obamacare isn&#8217;t really about providing quality healthcare to the needy, but about <a title=\"\u201cJustice\u201d as Social Engineering\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/07\/26\/justice-as-social-engineering\/\" target=\"_blank\">re-engineering<\/a> social values and <a title=\"The Nudging of America\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/08\/07\/the-nudging-of-america\/\" target=\"_blank\">nudging<\/a> Americans towards &#8220;correct thinking.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;One of the most basic traits of Progressivism, socialism, and the assorted menagerie of Leftist ideologies, is that society must be reshaped according to &#8220;correct thinking.&#8221;\u00a0 The values, mores, and beliefs are the pillars that support society, and make it &hellip;
