     After all the theater and drama, a continuing resolution and debt limit hike were agreed upon by the Senate and House of Representatives.\u00a0 Rather then a defunding of Obamacare, or any other victory, the Republicans got less than nothing<\/em>.\u00a0 The Republican leadership in Congress has FAILED.<\/p>\n

     The resolution<\/a> contains several proposals<\/a> that the Democrats won, which would not<\/a> have been part of a “clean” continuing resolution or debt limit hike, such as giving the millionaire widow of the late Sen. Lautenberg nearly $200 Thousand as a “pension.”<\/p>\n

     Also included was a provision<\/a> that gives the President the authority to take on debt unless 2<\/sup>\/3<\/sub> of Congress disagrees!\u00a0 If only Augustus were that lucky!<\/p>\n

     This is a clear failure of leadership on behalf of the Republicans in Congress.\u00a0 Above all, it is a failure of Speaker Boehner and the rest of the GOP leadership team.\u00a0 They need to step down and give someone else a try.\u00a0 This isn’t about conservative vs<\/em>. moderate, Tea Party vs<\/em>. establishment, or even about which side was even right about the entire continuing resolution and debt ceiling dilemma.<\/p>\n

     It is about competency and the ability to lead.\u00a0 Speaker Boehner and his “leadership” team have proven themselves to be failures.\u00a0 DrewM<\/a>, a regular commentator at Ace of Spades HQ<\/a> puts it bluntly:<\/p>\n

The entire House GOP leadership team, starting with Boehner, should resign. They simply can't manage the caucus.<\/p>\n
