     A parent review committee, created by the Utah legislature, to review the Common Core curricula are being asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement to stop them from discussing the materials they are to review.<\/p>\n

     This prohibition<\/a> is allegedly meant to prevent parents from telling other parents about specific test questions, but the “broader ban on public discussion undermines the whole point of having a committee.”<\/p>\n

     As one state Senator noted<\/a>: “Why wouldn\u2019t you allow a process where (parents) could say, ‘This is the dumbest thing imaginable and this is why’?”<\/p>\n

     Probably because they might warn parents of idiocy like these<\/em>:<\/p>\n
