{"id":3078,"date":"2013-08-30T13:15:56","date_gmt":"2013-08-30T20:15:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/politicalhat.com\/?p=3078"},"modified":"2013-08-30T13:15:56","modified_gmt":"2013-08-30T20:15:56","slug":"they-would-rather-the-poor-be-poorer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/08\/30\/they-would-rather-the-poor-be-poorer\/","title":{"rendered":"They Would Rather the Poor be Poorer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Alabama is having a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato.org\/blog\/alabamas-school-choice-program-good-start\" target=\"_blank\">scholarship tax credit program<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato.org\/blog\/splc-you-cant-help-every-child-you-cant-help-any-child\" target=\"_blank\">challenged<\/a> by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) because it doesn&#8217;t help every single child.\u00a0 It would provide $3500 per student in a failing public school.\u00a0 Not every child will benefit by this, but many will.\u00a0 That that is the very reason why Progressive organizations such as the SPLC oppose it: If you can&#8217;t help <em>all<\/em> kids, then you shouldn&#8217;t be able to help <em>any<\/em> kids.\u00a0 It strikes at the root of what the Progressive left considers \u201c<a title=\"\u201cFood Justice\u201d Coming To New Jersey?\" href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2012\/12\/12\/food-justice-coming-to-new-jersey\/\" target=\"_blank\">justice<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3079\" title=\"equality_poverty\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/equality_poverty.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"583\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/equality_poverty.jpg 453w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/equality_poverty-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 453px) 100vw, 453px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Justice, to the Progressives, is forced egalitarianism in order to artificially create a society where there is an equality of outcome.\u00a0 If everyone is in the same boat economically, then no one can impose injustice on anyone else.\u00a0 This ignores the fact that <em>someone<\/em> will have the power to over people to make that happen.\u00a0 Progressives are monomanically driven towards &#8220;equality,&#8221; that they would, in the words of Margaret Thatcher, &#8220;rather the poor were poorer, provided the rich were less rich.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--more--><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rv5t6rC6yvg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;They <em>want<\/em> to <a href=\"http:\/\/ace.mu.nu\/archives\/342706.php\" target=\"_blank\">destroy<\/a> and make everyone equally poor (aside from those who are more equal than others), and that that situation would somehow spontaneous create a utopia were everyone is free of teh eeevils of &#8220;hierarchy&#8221;
