     Your humble author has noted for some time that many on the purported Right have adopted Leftist thinking<\/a>. Indeed, much of that thinking can be expressed favorably in Marxist terms, abet with a \u201ctrad\u201d or \u201cChristian\u201d sheen upon it. James Lindsay, one of the people responsible for the academic hoax<\/a> that got Leftist academic journals to publish Mein Kampf re-written as Feminism or how dog parks are racist has noted what your humble author\u2014but, alas, not enough others\u2014to notice: That the same fundamental thinking of the \u201cwokes\u201d is increasingly reflected in the thinking of the purported Right.<\/p>\n

     Now, Lindsay is no conservative, and is more akin to a George Orwell: A person of the Left who fears what Marxist thought\u2014and it\u2019s pseudo-intellectual decedents\u2014has brought to the fore. Often, the knee-jerk defense is to cover oneself in religion as a magical shield that protects one from all criticism. It is also amongst many performative<\/em> religious individuals where their thinking is fundamentally Leftist with their eschatology being, superficially<\/a> at least, Christian. As your humble author previously has asked: \u201cHow much is one\u2019s sense of normalcy derived from scripture as opposed to one\u2019s sense of normalcy informing one\u2019s understanding of scripture?\u201d<\/p>\n

     James Lindsay has sought to goad many of these \u201cChristian Nationalists\u201d as the Leftists that they are in the same way he outed the woke academics via<\/em> the \u201cGrievance Studies Affair\u201d: Specifically by laying on a superficial Christian sheen over \u201cThe Communist Manifesto\u201d, which was accepted by the American Reformer in an article entitled \u201cThe Regime Fears the Rise of the New Rival<\/a>\u201d\u2026 like it was a haunting specter or something.<\/p>\n

     Some comparison<\/a> of \u201cThe Communist Manifesto\u201d and the submitted article:<\/p>\n

Communist Manifesto:<\/p>\n

[p. 27, preamble] A spectre is haunting Europe \u2013 the spectre of communism. All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Pope and Tsar, Metternich and Guizot, French Radicals and German police-spies.<\/p>\n

Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as communistic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of communism, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?<\/p>\n

Two things result from this fact:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Communism is already acknowledged by all European powers to be itself a power.<\/li>\n
  2. It is high time that Communists should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of Communism with a manifesto of the party itself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    American Reformer:<\/p>\n

    A rising spirit is haunting America: the spirit of a true Christian Right. Moreover, all the existing powers of the American Regime since the end of the Second World War have aligned themselves against it and its re-emergence from the shadows of American civic life, politics, and religion\u2014the Marxist Left and its neo-Marxist \u201cWoke\u201d descendant, the liberal establishment, the neoconservatives, and their police and intelligence apparatuses.<\/p>\n

    There are two consequences of this unholy alliance. First, the Christian Right itself is recognized by all these forces to be a power and thus a threat. Second, it is time for this arranged order to end and for a New Christian Right to emerge and stake its rightful claim on twenty-first century American politics.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    The Communist Manifesto:<\/p>\n

    [pp. 36\u201337, ch. 1] This organisation of the proletarians into a class, and, consequently into a political party, is continually being upset again by the competition between the workers themselves. But it ever rises up again, stronger, firmer, mightier. It compels legislative recognition of particular interests of the workers, by taking advantage of the divisions among the bourgeoisie itself.<\/p>\n

    American Reformer:<\/p>\n

    This organization of the New Christian Right into a movement will continually be upset again by the competition between its various factions, but it is rising. We take no enemies to the Right and always redouble our efforts to our Left. In that way, we ever rise up again, stronger, firmer, mightier for all these contests. For this reason, in the end, we will win back our culture and take back our communities, and the liberals can go ahead and thank themselves.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

         This isn\u2019t just a stylistic <\/em>comparison, but a comparison of fundamental thinking in the approach between Marxist thought and the though of the Leftists who wear conservatism like a skinsuit demanding respect.<\/p>\n

         No matter how much you try to create or recreate\u2014like some intelligent designer<\/em>\u2014your eschaton <\/em>over theirs, both require the same immanentization<\/em> to get there.<\/p>\n
