\nDonald Trump has been pretty clear about who he was talking about when he mused about the “enemy from within” and how “easily” they could be “handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military.”<\/p>\n
\nThe fever pitch of hysteria emanating from Democrats right now has some Republicans thinking that Democrats know they are losing and are desperate. Now, there’s something to that: The trends have been moving against Democrats lately, and there\u2019s an edge of panic creeping into the sound of their leaders and spokespeople. But at least if you look at the public polling, Democrats are still (barely) ahead in the key battleground Senate races, and Donald Trump’s leads in the battleground states are mostly within the margin of error. If the polls are just a few points off-center \u2014 well within historic norms \u2014 it\u2019s easy enough to see Kamala Harris winning, Democrats retaking the House, and Republicans winning just a one-seat margin in the Senate.<\/p>\n
\nTo listen to Democrats, you’d think nothing has ever happened with any political salience at Madison Square Garden except for a big Nazi rally in 1939, providing yet more evidence that Trump is a protofascist since he, too, had a rally there tonight.<\/p>\n
