A judge in Arkansas, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/legalinsurrection.com\/2023\/06\/judge-strikes-down-arkansas-ban-on-gender-transition-procedures-for-minors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thinks mutilating kids is spiffy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cJudge James Moody Jr of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas \u2013 Central Division in Arkansas struck down the Save Adolescents from Experiment (SAFE) Act, which banned \u201cgender transition procedures\u201d and medical referrals for those procedures. The judge found the law unconstitutional as a violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe judge\u2019s decision included extensive findings of fact, including that \u2018[t]ransgender care is not experimental care,\u201d that gender transition procedures reduce depression and suicide rates, and that \u201c[g]enital surgeries for adolescents are extremely rare.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5371\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif 500w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line-300x22.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Not even in Oklahoma can abortion be <a href=\"https:\/\/legalinsurrection.com\/2023\/06\/oklahoma-supreme-court-strikes-down-two-anti-abortion-laws-citing-maternal-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">banned<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court of Oklahoma found two anti-abortion laws unconstitutional on May 31, 2023, for failing to make exceptions for the preservation of maternal life. This opinion came roughly one year after the Supreme Court of the United States held in Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization that \u2018[t]he Constitution [of the United States] does not confer a right to abortion.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5371\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif 500w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line-300x22.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Apparently a <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/state-watch\/4181412-texas-federal-judge-halts-states-ban-on-drag-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sexual performance in front of kids<\/a> is a right\u2026 in Texas.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cA federal judge in Texas has stopped the state\u2019s ban on drag performances, which was scheduled to go into place Friday, enforcing a temporary injunction on the measure in a win for LGBTQ rights advocates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c\u2018The Court finds there is a substantial likelihood that S.B. 12 as drafted violates the First Amendment of the United States Constitution under one or more of the legal theories put forward by the Plaintiffs,\u2019 District Judge David Hittner wrote in his opinion Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe law, signed by Gov. Greg Abbott (R) in late June, bans \u2018sexually oriented performances\u2019 that take place in the presence of minors.
