{"id":1978,"date":"2013-04-14T18:32:00","date_gmt":"2013-04-15T01:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/politicalhat.com\/?p=1978"},"modified":"2013-04-14T18:32:00","modified_gmt":"2013-04-15T01:32:00","slug":"nevada-2nd-amendment-update-apr-14th-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2013\/04\/14\/nevada-2nd-amendment-update-apr-14th-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Nevada 2nd Amendment Update (Apr. 14th, 2013)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;An update on firearms related bills going through the legislature:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The bad bills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/Session\/77th2013\/Reports\/history.cfm?DocumentType=1&amp;BillNo=234\" target=\"_blank\">AB234<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/Session\/77th2013\/Reports\/history.cfm?ID=925\" target=\"_blank\">SB396<\/a> were not passed out of their committees, and because of this: &#8220;[p]ursuant to Joint Standing Rule No. 14.3.1, no further action allowed.&#8221; \u00a0This does not mean that some parliamentary stunt\u00a0can not be pulled in the future&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;However, two anti-civil liberties bills that attack our 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Amendment have been passed out of their original committees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/Session\/77th2013\/Reports\/history.cfm?DocumentType=2&amp;BillNo=221\" target=\"_blank\">SB221<\/a> was amended and passed out of committee. \u00a0It allows people&#8217;s 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Amendment\u00a0rights to be taken away if a doctor raises a concern, and without the normal due process of law <em>via<\/em> court order as is required now.
