{"id":18573,"date":"2021-10-18T00:37:17","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T07:37:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/politicalhat.com\/?p=18573"},"modified":"2021-10-18T00:37:17","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T07:37:17","slug":"terry-mcauliffe-protects-the-darkness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2021\/10\/18\/terry-mcauliffe-protects-the-darkness\/","title":{"rendered":"Terry McAuliffe Protects The Darkness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Democratic nominee for Governor of Virginia (again) Terry McAuliffe seems really, really opposed to parents being involved in their children\u2019s schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nWrpleKHmno\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I wonder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/loudoun-county-schools-tried-to-conceal-sexual-assault-against-daughter-in-bathroom-father-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">why<\/a>?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOn June 22, Scott Smith was arrested at a Loudoun County, Virginia, school board meeting, a meeting that was ultimately deemed an \u201cunlawful assembly\u201d after many attendees vocally opposed a policy on transgender students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhat people did not know is that weeks prior on May 28, Smith says, a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls\u2019 bathroom at nearby Stone Bridge High School, where he sexually assaulted Smith\u2019s ninth-grade daughter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cJuvenile records are sealed, but Smith\u2019s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy \u2013 one count of anal sodomy and one count of forcible fellatio \u2013 related to an incident that day at that school.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It\u2019s not like the public school is <a href=\"https:\/\/pjmedia.com\/vodkapundit\/2021\/10\/15\/cover-up-loudon-county-schools-failed-to-report-multiple-rapes-over-years-n1524158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">covering rape up<\/a> on a regular basis, right?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLoudoun County Public Schools did not record multiple known incidents of alleged sexual assault in schools dating back several years, despite a law that requires statistics about school safety incidents to be reported to the public and which includes provisions holding school superintendents personally liable for violations, a Daily Wire review of public records found.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAfter The Daily Wire raised the discrepancy with the Virginia Department of Education, VDOE spokesman Charles Pyle said that \u2018VDOE is reviewing the discipline, crime and violence data submissions of Loudoun County Public Schools and is in communication with LCPS to determine whether the division\u2019s reporting is accurate and whether the division is in compliance with state and federal law.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe same law could have implications for a Loudoun superintendent or principal in the wake of a May 28 alleged sexual assault in a bathroom \u2014 an incident first reported by The Daily Wire Monday. On June 22, Superintendent Scott Ziegler told the public, \u2018To my knowledge, we don\u2019t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cVirginia law requires that \u2018Reports shall be made to the division superintendent and to the principal or his designee on all incidents involving \u2026 sexual assault.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHowever, state law actually requires statistics on assaults and other incidents in schools to be reported to the public, in the form of annually updated statistics available on a public database called Safe Schools Information Resource (SSIR) administered by the Virginia Department of Education.
