In the wake of Brexit we will start to see what a European Union bereft of significant Anglo-American influence (sorry Ireland, you\u2019re just not a heavy enough hitter politically). In a discussion between Willian F. Bucikley, Jr., John O\u2019Sullivan, and Christopher Hitchens, the point was raised<\/a> that \u201cAmericans always wanted the British in the European Community was because they would represent [the Americans’] thought, the ideas of free trade and free markets, which would mean that the Community would never be closed to American goods and American capital.\u201d Will that remain true, or will we truly see a tripartite, give or take Jihadi or Russian shenanigans, world of the People\u2019s Republic of China, the United States of America, and the European Union?<\/p>\n
