Because, Lauren explains, in the context of her medical school \u201cacknowledging biological sex can be considered transphobic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen sex is acknowledged by her instructors, it\u2019s sometimes portrayed as a social construct, not a biological reality, she says. In a lecture on transgender health, an instructor declared: \u201cBiological sex, sexual orientation, and gender are all constructs. These are all constructs that we have created.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn other words, some of the country\u2019s top medical students are being taught that humans are not, like other mammals, a species comprising two sexes. The notion of sex, they are learning, is just a man-made creation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe idea that sex is a social construct may be interesting debate fodder in an anthropology class. Now the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/a-to-z-guides\/news\/20210616\/remove-sex-from-public-birth-certificates-ama-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American Medical Association<\/a> (AMA) considers that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/ama-to-urge-end-of-sex-id-on-all-birth-certificates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">doubleplusungood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt is astonishing how the transgender moral panic has swept actual science aside. The American Medical Association Board of Trustees (BOT) just passed a resolution that will have the AMA lobbying to end the designation of sex in all future birth certificates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe resolution distinguishes between the \u2018Certificate of Live Birth\u2019 \u2014 which is used for simple data collection and vital statistics \u2014 and a \u2018Birth Certificate,\u2019 which is proof for the born person that he or she was indeed born. (Can I still say that?)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe AMA wants biological sex recorded for the former as a private matter of record-keeping. But it will now urge that birth-certificate forms carry no designation of sex to prevent future discrimination based on identity and to allow the person to decide later what sex they really are.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5371\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif 500w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line-300x22.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Even the \u201cobjective\u201d medical journals are admitting that so-called \u201cgender affirming surgery\u201d can lead to people <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/33987303\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">regretting having their genitalia mutilated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe literature is inconsistent regarding etiology and classification of regret following GAS. Of the 154 surgeons queried, 30% responded to our survey. Cumulatively, these respondents treated between 18,125 and 27,325 individuals. Fifty-seven percent of surgeons encountered at least one patient who expressed regret, with a total of 62 patients expressing regret (0.2-0.3%). Etiologies of regret were varied and classified as either: (I) true gender-related regret (42%), (II) social regret (37%), and (III) medical regret (8%).
