     Good news: U.S. sanctions on a Chinese company<\/a> hurt Maduro. Bad news: The Biden administration considers these sanctions to have \u201cfailed\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

     This is why the people fleeing Venezuela, as people still flee from Cuba, even at the risk of their own lives<\/a>. Even the opposition has fled<\/a> Venezuela, which is a sensible thing to do with a doubled down witch hunt<\/a> against enemies of the regime. This certainly makes it easier<\/a> to engage<\/a> in electoral fraud<\/a>.<\/p>\n

     This is not to say the opposition hasn\u2019t done nothing, in fact they have gotten into\u2026 cryptocurrency<\/a>. Not that Venezuela\u2019s currency needs any help self-destructing<\/a>, which is why Venezuela is moving away from the Bolivar to\u2026 the U.S. Dollar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

     And what has this lack of legitimacy<\/a> and corruption<\/a> lead to in this glorious ongoing revolutionary hellhole? Even more corruption<\/a> and repression<\/a>! Oh, and also collapse of healthcare<\/a>, human rights<\/a>, and ability to fight Corona-chan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

     You\u2019d think that Venezuela would be a warning to other countries in Latin America, but clearly the siren call of repression has led to Ortega in Nicaragua<\/a> emulating Maduro in Venezuela, all while Peru<\/a> votes to destroy itself.<\/p>\n
