     It turns out that some people believe that racism isn\u2019t just systemic, but a disease known as \u201cWhiteness\u201d<\/a> that must be \u201ccured\u201d. Treating \u201cracism\u201d as a public health crisis<\/a> is something that many<\/em> states have explicitly endorsed. But there is nothing wrong with that, some might declare, because racism is bad! \u00a0 But when racism is the same thing as \u201cWhiteness\u201d, the final solution<\/em> to \u201cracism\u201d becomes clear, as a writer at \u201cThe Root\u201d has surmised that \u201cWhiteness Is a Pandemic<\/a>\u201d and concludes that:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhite supremacy is a virus that, like other viruses, will not die until there are no bodies left for it to infect. Which means the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it. I guess a vaccine could work, too. But we\u2019ve had 400 years to develop one, so I won\u2019t hold my breath.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     When \u201cWhiteness\u201d manifests through the mere existence of White people, the only and final<\/em> solution is to eliminate the disease vector.<\/p>\n
