     The woke madness of degendering, regendering, or otherwise playing idiotic games with the English language has come to Congress; it is as stupid as you\u2019d think it is.<\/p>\n

     The first measure was the introduction<\/a> of House Rules<\/a> that makes use of \u201cgendered<\/a>\u201d terms like \u201cman\u201d, \u201cfather\u201d, or \u201cniece\u201d\u2014amongst other linguistic changes\u2014verboten<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn an effort to be inclusive to those who don’t identify as a specific gender, the rules package strips all mention of gender-specific pronouns and terms such as \u2018man,\u2019 \u2018woman,\u2019 \u2018mother\u2019 and \u2018son.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Office of the Whistleblower Ombudsman, for instance, is renamed in the rules to the \u2018Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s nothing in the rules that prohibit members from using gender-specific terms when speaking on the House floor or conducting business.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Meanwhile\u2026 in the House of Representatives.<\/p><\/div>\n

     Interestingly, this may just be an intentional distraction<\/a> from more nefarious changes:<\/p>\n

\u201cA major change is the elimination of paygo \u2013 the requirement that members find a way to pay for legislation when it is introduced. This will allow Medicare-For-All and the Green New Deal to be pursued without any plan for paying for such expensive legislation \u2013 trillions of dollars at stake.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     The idiocy was then double-downed upon:<\/p>\n
