Buckley, Jr.\u2019s \u201cFiring Line\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The history of Capital Punishment in the United States has been one that is quite undulating in the past half-century, not only from the U.S. Supreme Court temporarily suspending executions to the not long after legal execution of Gary Gilmore in Utah, but also to the varying laws at state level and the willingness to execute convicted criminals, be that due to legislative acts, gubernatorial acts of clemency, or such judicial shenanigans of the Rose Byrd court.
