Baby boys look longer at objects, such as tractor parts. Infant girls stare at faces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;\u2019A third of the girls actually seem to respond more to the tractor parts,&#8221; said Rippon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen I pointed out that meant two-thirds of the girls did not, Rippon said that the experiment should be redone \u2018with a bigger set of newborns.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMaybe. But scientists shouldn&#8217;t keep redoing experiments until they get results they like.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"western\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5371\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line.gif 500w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/eag_line-300x22.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\nEven provable science, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecollegefix.com\/harvard-says-masculinity-and-testosterone-are-not-connected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the effects of hormones on behavior<\/a>, is downplayed in an attempt to trick people into thinking that it is irrelevant.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p  style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c\u2019Testosterone often gives men a pass for their negative behavior, and a pass for their success. With titans of Wall Street, for example, testosterone didn\u2019t have anything to do with those men reaching the highest level in their field\u2014there are other structures that elevated men and suppressed women. If biology and testosterone aren\u2019t the explanation, then we have the much harder work to do of addressing the social causes.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLeft unmentioned: why women who identify as men often start taking testosterone supplements, and why men who identify as women often start taking treatment to inhibit testosterone, if testosterone is so inconsequential to masculinity.
