     In the United States we have already seen many states ban s-called “conversion therapy<\/a>” whereby a medical professional is not allowed to suggest that maybe, juuust maybe, a “gender confused” boy is actually a boy, or an actual girl a girl\u2014despite this being but a transient phase that the kids get over.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

     However, parents can still try to help, either themselves or with religious advisors. The 1st<\/sup> Amendment protection of religious freedom, and more broadly parental right (give or take an abortion or million), unfortunately does not exist in Canada<\/a>, where the province of Ottawa has made it illegal for parents<\/em> to not enthusiastically embrace a child’s (likely cajoled or manipulated) fancy that they are “trans”:<\/p>\n

“The Canadian province of Ontario has passed a legislation that has been described by critics as ‘totalitarian’ as it allows the government to seize children from families who do not accept gender ideology.<\/p>\n

“Bill 89, or the Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act, 2017, was passed by a vote of 63\u201323 on June 1, the last day before Queen’s Park adjourns for the summer, Life Site News reported.<\/p>\n

“The measure repeals and replaces the Child and Family Services Act, which governs child protection services, as well as adoption and foster care services.<\/p>\n

“Under the legislation, ‘gender identity’ and ‘gender expression’ are included as factors to be considered “in the best interests of the child.” However, the religious faith in which the parents are raising the child is removed from consideration in assessing the child’s bests interest.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     Of course, it’ll still be perfectly legal to pressure a child to “go trans” since that would be seen as just “encouraging” them to come out of their cis-normative shackles<\/em>. In contrast, if a child decides that they really aren’t transgendered, parents and authorities will pressure them to go back to being “trans” in order to fight cis-normative oppression<\/em> and whatnot.<\/p>\n

     Though they haven’t gone as far as Scotland<\/a>, the new law provides for “early intervention services and community support services”.<\/p>\n

     Remember, it’s not your<\/em> child… it’s Leviathans<\/a>.<\/p>\n
