{"id":13236,"date":"2017-04-11T07:12:58","date_gmt":"2017-04-11T14:12:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/politicalhat.com\/?p=13236"},"modified":"2017-04-11T07:12:58","modified_gmt":"2017-04-11T14:12:58","slug":"macro-insanity-of-microinequities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2017\/04\/11\/macro-insanity-of-microinequities\/","title":{"rendered":"Macro-insanity of Microinequities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;More and more people, sadly enough, have become familiar the term &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Microaggression\" target=\"_blank\">microaggressions<\/a>&#8220;, which are &#8220;brief, everyday exchanges that send denigrating messages to certain individuals because of their group membership&#8221;. A new concept has now arisen to ellipse that: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campusreform.org\/?ID=8945\" target=\"_blank\">Microinequities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Two universities are offering faculty guides advising professors to &#8216;challenge the gender binary&#8217; and avoid &#8216;microinequities&#8217; in the interest of making classrooms gender inclusive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;To combat the threat of being non-inclusive, professors are told to steer clear of &#8216;microinequities,&#8217; which are defined as &#8216;small unconscious behaviors&#8230;that certain groups experience repeatedly.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Though the change at first seems small, it is indeed a quantum leap of totalitarian proportions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The term &#8220;microaggression&#8221; assumes aggression is part and parcel of the act. Since those with &#8220;kyriarchical&#8221; traits (<em>e<\/em>.<em>g<\/em>. White, straight, &#8220;cis&#8221;, &amp;c.) are assumed to exercise the <em>privilege<\/em> and <em>power<\/em> of an innately oppressive society that is built upon oppression of those with anti-kyriarchical traits, all <em>politically incorrect<\/em> statements and acts are considered &#8220;aggressions&#8221; because they are considered perpetuations of said kyriarchical oppression by sheer un-virtue of it being said by those with kyriarchical traits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The shift from &#8220;aggression&#8221; to &#8220;inequity&#8221; eschews the possibility of fighting aggression, let alone not aggressing, by the &#8220;kyriarchs&#8221;, nor is there any infinitely divided possibility that actual equality of outcome is desired, while demonstrating that the end goal of this creeping academic totalitarianism is a &#8220;rebalancing&#8221; to achieve a so-called &#8220;equality of power&#8221; by <a href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2016\/09\/28\/equity-vs-essentialism\/\" target=\"_blank\">enforcing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/2016\/12\/06\/on-equality\/\" target=\"_blank\">unequivocal<\/a> <em>inequality<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;This equality of power, though, is not just a means towards an equality of outcomes. It is almost axiomatic that through an equality of power amongst all <em>minitudes<\/em>, that <em>scientifically correct<\/em> decisions will be made that are of absolute moral purity. That when <em>intelligently designed<\/em>, such an equality of power will <em>always<\/em> be not only optimal, but morally absolute. Thus in this set-up, incorrect ideas will be discarded or even go unthought, while power, held in absolute equality, will result in the summoning of a <em>dieu faux Volont\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale<\/em> that will reign in total righteousness.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Microinequities, thus, are a declaration that the mere existence of the kyriarchical &#8220;other&#8221; is an unredeemable and unshrivable sin, for which there is but one <em>final solution<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1382\" src=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Diversity.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"790\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Diversity.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/impeachreno.org\/politicalhat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Diversity-300x237.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This will not end well\u2026<\/p>\n<p><meta name=\"twitter:card\" content=\"summary_large_image\"><meta name=\"twitter:site\" content=\"@PoliticHatblog\"><meta name=\"twitter:creator\" content=\"@ThePoliticalhat\"><meta name=\"twitter:title\" content=\"Macro-insanity of Microinequities\"><meta name=\"twitter:description\" content=\"More and more people, sadly enough, have become familiar the term 'microaggressions', which are 'brief, everyday exchanges that send denigrating messages to certain individuals because of their group membership'.
