\nA little over a week ago, I wrote about a proposal by Obama and Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, to nationalize our elections, effectively seizing control from the states which is contrary to the Constitution. Like much of the rest of Obama’s “fundamental transformation” agenda, federal control of elections is a popular idea in other branches of government, such as the judicial branch.<\/p>\n
\nWe can just vote for Hillary because we’re too dumb to think for ourselves. But do we really want to go there?<\/p>\n

\nYesterday when I saw the video of Hillary’s collapse, the first thing I said was “now I’m wondering if this has happened before.” Today Bill Clinton answered that question in the affirmative, connecting prior publicized fainting incidents to the current one.<\/p>\n
\nAmericans are facing a disheartening choice this November. Both major-party nominees are unqualified to be president of the United States, each in their own way. Friedrich Hayek was right: When it comes to government, the worst get on top.<\/p>\n
\nCalifornia voters, among the most reliably liberal in the nation, have an opportunity to pass a repeal of the death penalty in November. Proposition 62 would commute the sentence of those on California\u2019s Death Row to life without parole and require a higher percentage of inmate income to go to victim restitution. With opposition to the death penalty a big progressive goal, and with California\u2019s execution process among the slowest and most frustrating in the nation, one would expect overwhelming support for Proposition 62.<\/p>\n
\nHillary Clinton suffered a serious health scare over the weekend, nearly collapsing at a 9\/11 anniversary event in Manhattan. We later learned she had been diagnosed with pneumonia and was canceling a number of events after being advised by her doctor to get some rest.<\/p>\n
