     Being a reasonable person is tantamount<\/a> to supporting sexual harassment, sexism, and rape culture\u2026 as far as the Obama administration is concerned.<\/p>\n

“Defining sexual harassment using ‘common sense and reason’ is a violation of Title IX, the Department of Education declared in a letter released Friday.<\/p>\n

“The letter, released by the department’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR), concerns an investigation into alleged Title IX violations at Frostburg State University in Maryland.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

     Why is this such a dangerous “letter”?\u00a0 Because common sense and what a reasonable person<\/a> would believe is an integral part of our Common Law tradition.<\/p>\n

     The letter explicitly states that “[T]he Sexual Harassment Policy inappropriately stated that ‘in assessing whether a particular act constitutes sexual harassment forbidden under this policy, the rules of common sense and reason shall prevail. The standard shall be the perspective of a reasonable person within the campus community.’ This standard falls short of the preponderance of the evidence standard required to satisfy Title IX.”<\/p>\n

     The thrust of the Progressives legal impulse is to assume guilt<\/a> and base that guilt on the subjective opinion<\/a> of the designated oppressor class.\u00a0 Guilt is assumed.\u00a0 Verdict; then trial<\/a>.<\/p>\n
